The Base Studio is the lead visual effects house for the San Francisco native independent film; Mandorla. 

Director, Roberto Miller, released an update today on the film's  official website which announces the wrap of principal photography alongside a "working trailer"  which has been picked up by HP (Hewlette Packard) and is currently screening at the HP Lounge located in the famous Majestic Hotel within the Cannes Film Festival! 

The official article states and attributes some of the film's visual storytelling success directly to The Base Studio's efforts. 

"One of the most exciting developments on the film of late is how the unique otherworldly aspects of the story are being realized in the collaboration we have with Jordan Freda, our Visual Effects Supervisor, and his amazing team at The Base Studio just up the road from us."
